Gregory Harrison is a dynamic and multifaceted musician, composer, sound designer, producer, educator and audio engineer based in Toronto. He has guest-lectured at the University of Toronto, Acadia University, University of Arizona, University of New Brunswick, and Toronto Dance Theatre presenting topics on Music Technology, Composition, and Musicianship. He is an East Coast Music Award-winning and Dora nominated composer whose works have been commissioned by Soft Rains Games, Toronto Dance Theatre, Kaeja d'Dance, ProArte Danza, Architek Percussion, Fifth Wind Quintet, Popular Demand Pictures, and Hemmings House Productions. As a freelance audio engineer, Gregory has worked with a wide variety of artists in the GTA and New Brunswick, specializing in indie, pop, rock, metal, and classical recording, mixing and mastering. His audio recording work and compositions have been featured on programs such as Steven King’s Popsy (Popular Demand Pictures), CBC Gem’s Kim’s Convenience and France’s Got Talent. His extensive touring resume spans artists and groups including Jeremy Dutcher, Disaster Pony, Cirque du Soleil, The Rose Orchestra, Toronto Concert Orchestra, Taktus Marimba Duo, Mear, The Cybertronic Spree, Fuze Orchestra, Video Games Live, R. Murray Schafer, and Fred Penner. He has performed extensively internationally at notable venues such as Massey Hall, NPR Tiny Desk Concerts, the JUNO’s, and The Kennedy Center.
